Can anybody suggest a really good northbridge heatsink for P4? The crappy heatsink on my MSI 865PE Neo2-S has got to be the reason for my crappy temps. I've been looking around, but I really can't find anything that'll use the dumb P4 style mounting. Ever since I took off that paper crap from under the heatsink and the gum off, my temps have sky rocketed...

The MCX159-P from Swiftech is a good one. 18dB, so it's nice and quiet. My MCX159-A is arriving in the next couple days. :D

Yes, yes it is :D. I love mine, and can even run it fanless without overheating.

I've got one on mine, works real well.
Just make certain that you have the room, sits tall with the fan on top.

Yes, there was another one. I can't remember the name of it, but I did see a comparison between it and the 159. Quite a bit louder though. Can't remember the pricing on it. Hopefully someone else remembers it.

Both Thermalright and Thermaltake make one. The TT is ugly and loud, but cheap. Check frozencpu.com

The Thermalright one is just what I'm looking for. Newgg is out of stock, but for $13 plus shipping, it's definately worth it. Couple that and the Thermalright XP-120 which I am patiently waiting for... and I think I'll be good.

its cool. :D

Picked up the Thermalright NB-1 along with two 3-pin y-adapters, plus tax and shipping... got out for under $20 at SVC. I was looking at the clearance and saw that I might have to clip a few fins from my Zalman... but I'm willing to do it. Should do they job at least until the Thermalright XP-120 hits stores. Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
