Hey folks,

Well after leaving my PC in load for 8+ hours, I am not liking the temperatures. I haven't had to reboot or artifacts haven't come on or simply no problems, but they are still high.

Right now my CPU is @ 55C // System temp is @ 34C.

CPU is using stock heatsink/fan from AMD (i am replacing this w/ a SP-97). I'm still searching for a 92mm fan for that heatsink.

On my Abit board, I'm using their stock heatsink/fan on the NB, but I want to buy a better heatsink/fan combo and move that stock one to the SB.

So is the Vantec Iceberq copper cooler still a good choice to put on the NB? Will it fit good?

Anyone have any ideas? and I think since my system temp is so high is because of the 9800pro and I'm purchasing Thisl to replace it.
 
The VGA silencer will definitely help your temps. The 9800 pro puts out a lot of heat and the VGA silencer allows you to get most of it out of your case, so good times.

55*C idle is not good really, becuase at load temps could get into the 60's, which borders the "semi-danger" zone. The new HSF will help a lot, so I wouldn't worry too much.

SB's get pretty hot, the heatsink will help a lot. For the northbridge, I'm sure the Vantec would do nicely, but the Swiftech cooler is better, though a little more expensive.
 
The Vantec Iceberq is a perfect fit on the NF7-S. It's what I put on mine.

On your system temps, how many intake/exhaust fans do you have? Also in the hot summer days, system temp is always gonna get a bit warmer.

I have one intake and two outtake fans.

Also guys, what 92mm fan should I put on top of that SP-97?
