You're on the wrong site with the arguments you are making. Anything you post will be grouped into "Fake News", no discussion just immediate retaliation. Now I would never pull what you just did and lump all right leaning people into a single group (similar to responses you get about left leaning folk on this thread), that is just factually incorrect and extremist. Sure there are a large portion that will wear blinders to reality and even believe they are not racist/bigots/inserthatefulword, but saying "all" they got you... also denying that there are bad apples in the antifa movement hurts credibility as well.

I click these threads just to get a chuckle and then die inside a little. I never thought that I single event nearly a near ago would give people the guff to defend the morality of Neo-Nazi garbage, but shit, that's what seems to be happening.

(I'm sure I'll get the misinformed first amend argument as to why Nazi propaganda has to be allowed on an organizations website as there are too far many that don't understand what the 1st protects)

Also, I laugh at the use of "anarchist" to describe them. Utterly hilarious and completely lacks an understanding of what that belief means. As, that whole movement of Antifa (Communist) is about the use of force through the state. Not too dissimilar to "Nazis."

Your logic falls on deaf ears. It's only wrong when it comes from the right side of the aisle since the left is doing it "for the right reasons." I, for one, despise both the alt-right and ctrl-left. I think they're both the scum of the earth and should be treated as such.

If you don't like it boycott Reddit like I do. It's a shitty place filled with idiots. Thankfully I have better forums to participate within.
 
I have no issue with private ownership and their ability to dictate what is on the site. Just like I think we should be able to criticize hypocrisy when we see it. However, my opinion matters little next to the owner. If I have a problem then I can offer a replacement platform. Free markets, baby.

You guys should take a look at cached versions of these subs. They clearly promoting the death of non whites. Also, they closed anti white subs as well, which called out violence against white people. Reddits stance on this policy is that these subs are actively advocating physical violence. For the moment though they're mostly appearing on the white subs at the moment but that may change now that the users have been dispersed elsewhere. There could be an argument whether they should also ban /r/antifa and /r/the_donald, that's for you guys to debate. However, for the moment, I happen to agree with what Reddit is doing and they're being very cautious about it, but like any powerful website with millions of users, it's treading in trepidation territory. I'd love to hear other opinions though

Basically, my argument against the silencing of speech is an old one and has been tackled by people far smarter than I. In fact, I'd suggest simply reading Thomas Moore, and understanding the importance of liberty. As, his arguments were certainly against the Jacobins and the narrowness of that ideology that started to eat itself.

Antifa would have people like Martin Luther jailed because he "triggered" folks. Granted, probably not since it was against the Catholic Church and not, say, Islam. Which, I find a lot of those folks claiming for "enlightenment" to be hypocritical because they would censor speech that tries to achieve that. You have to have the freedom to criticize to create that movement of change. And, yes, those words will make people uncomfortable. However, I cannot and will not marginalize speech that I disagree with as "Nazis" or "Hate Speech." That's lazy.

So, would you bury it, or would you let it rise to the surface to make it easier to identify? By making it harder to find (removing it) you actually protect them and limit our ability to track these people.

Never thought we'd reach the day where people were actually defending 'nationalists' (Read white supremacists/nazi fucks), and claim their right to free speech is being violated when a private site no longer hosts their hate/stupidity....

One, the 1st Am only protects your free speech from prosecution from the government, nothing else. So you don't get thrown in jail for calling that tangerine oompa loompa whatever you want. Yet somehow these uneducated twats thinks it means they should be able to say whatever completely stupid hateful shit they want without consequences of any sort.

Then they try to hide their racism behind 'Dey took er joooobs' like that somehow justifies them wanting all non-whites to get deported. Funny enough, most of these 'nationalists' are the useless POS dead weight (less than ideal specimens of the human race) in this country, and we'd all be better off if they just fell off the god damn planet...

Aren't you happy that you can identify these people? If their speech were regulated, then the ability to remove them from the social pool would be limited, as they'd be in hiding and it'd be a lot more challenging to find them out. Again, I much rather know who the assholes are than not. Lastly, the concept of "morality" changes over time. Now, the conversation is Nazi's. At one point, it was the Red Coats. Another, the Church. The conversation changes and the ability to adapt to it comes from speech. So, I choose to protect it because we need to. It's bigger than "Nazi's" (I really hate calling redneck morons Nazi's, as it completely diminishes what the Nazi's actually were. Which, is something far more frightening than these Pabst Blue Ribbon drinking bastards.) and it's bigger than Commies.
 
Free speech does not mean speech without consequence. If the owner of private property doesn't like what you have to say they have every right to tell you to fuck off.

I guess you forgot antifa was communist. So if you want to add genocide to anything it is that group. Communism is responsible for how many deaths? Mao and Stalin combined for at least 30 million deaths, and I am being super generous with that number. except the owners of pretty much all major media outlets and companies are left leaning OR are corporate profit oriented entities hence the need to be politically safe.

If there was a balance in the market, there wouldn't be such a reaction as this, as people will just switch over.
There is no alternative to switch to now.
