I'm not finding a clear answer on this, but I see Ubuntu 21.04 has native AD support. That leaves me with two questions:

1. Does that include Ubuntu Server?
2. Does that include other official spins, like Budgie, Kubuntu, Mate, etc?

Here are the answers as I understand them. That being said I could be completely wrong.
1. No. As I understand it, the AD support has been included for the desktop versions of Ubuntu to allow for easier workstation integration into existing AD infrastructure.
2. I believe this is a yes for at least some of the spins. However, this I am less sure of. It may be specific to Ubuntu Desktop. The release notes do seem to indicate that it is Ubuntu Desktop specific, but I feel like I read an article a couple of weeks ago that stated the spins would include support as well.

EDIT: Clarifying information.
