I'm looking to get a Diskless NAS enclosure for my VM storage CIFS (We use CIFS over ISCSI @ work, And I'm trying to replicate that environment) and I've got my eye on a 2 bay Synology. Specifically, this one:

I plan to populate it with 2 x 2TB drives.

But I was wondering if anybody had any other suggestions? :)
