NAS for external Firewire drives?

[teststrips]

So I have a bunch of firewire enclosures that don't also include USB. I'd love to use them over a network without dedicating a PC to serving them up. I know there are a few devices that you can hook USB enclosures to for NAS purposes, but I don't know of any firewire ones... am I out of luck?

If there is no such thing as above, can anyone recommend a NAS enclosure for 4 or more IDE drives.... I'm looking for something fairly cheap.

Thanks!

guess I should have mentioned this will be used primarily with MAC systems. its not for me.. my dad just switched to a laptop due to health issues + now needs access to his drives. We hope to sell his desktop but still be able to use all of his external drives without having to hook them phsically up to his laptop.

again, thanks.

Talking to dad I just found out that he only really cares about 2 drives, so a 2 drive mac compatible NAS enclosure would be great (now does one exist)
