Nas Build Question

this nas build for just 3-4 user but need huge capacity(~30Tb) ,high reliability
this system for replace a old LTO Backup Tape system

OS:Freenas ZFS Filesystem

this was my build part

INTEL XEON E1230 V2 3.30GHz (1155) x 1
Intel S1200BTLR ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1155 DDR3 1600 x 1 // TYAN S5512GM2NR ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1155 DDR3 1600
Kingston 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 ECC x 4
Caviar Red WD30EFRX 3 TB x 12
CORSAIR HX750 x 1
LSI Internal SATA/SAS 9211-8i 6Gb/s x1

1.coz both mother have only 2 port of SATA3 if i mixing SATA2 and SATA3 in same ZFS Pool is it will decrease overall performance? if it decrease any advice for this build ?
2.for OS is just flash drive or SSD ?
3.is this build overkill ?

Well what chassis will you be using? More importantly what backplane will it use. I would recommend not using the onboard SATA and get another SAS controller.

That said though those drives will not exceed the bandwidth of a single SATAII connection never mind SATAIII

Chassis : iCute Super 18 coz in my country it so hard to find NORCO 4u Case
so i design to use 5.25" to 3.5" adapter instead backplane

if i use two of LSI 3081E-R is that was an good idea ? and is this card compatibility with freenas ?

Why not use the onboard SATA ports? Unless there is a compatibility concern buying an add-in card is just wasted money. He doesn't need a RAID controller just dumb ports.

I'm in Thailand
i a bit confuse now about raid card for my build

my company also want all part of this build have at least 3 year warranty
so choice of raid card is only Adaptec
there are many choice for me right now
1.use 4x Sata 2 on board and adding raid card for 8 extra port
2.not use on board sata and adding raid card for 12 extra port

Adaptec card for my choice now are ASR-6805E(8 port),AAR-1430SA(4 port)
but i not sure about compatibility at all
so any advice please? , maybe any model of adapter card fit for my build
