NAS advice

Just looking for recommendations for a NAS device for storing system images. For a while I fancied the idea of storing them on my server, but that space is already crowded with drives and I like the idea of it being a bit more mobile if need be. I'm backing up about 4 computer's OS drives and my gaming rig's secondary drive totalling about 1.5TB. The biggest drive is a 1TB I use for game installs so in case my drive fails at a LAN I have a backup I can restore with. After driving 12 hours for PDX a few years back and having my OS drive fail it became obvious I needed to do something for redundancy. I currently keep backups local to each system but a central backup location seemed like a better idea.

PS, I guess I should also ask for suggestions on software that can save drive images over a network. . . Norton Ghost?
 
I'd recommend Synology for the NAS and Acronis for the imaging software.
