I have the Maxtor maxattach NAS 4000 disk system. The unit died on me due to a bad hard drive last month and i have been trying everything i can do to get it up and running, however i have found that the restore director is corrupt and i am not able to get the unit to load with the new drive i used to replace the old dead one. I contacted Maxtor a number of times and they claim they do not have the files to give me as it is a older unit.
If anyone would be willing to FTP me the uncorrupt recovery files, specificaly the directory \\c\st_bnackup\config.dat i would very much appreciate it, otherwise it looks like i will have to buy a new unit :(
any help is greatly appreciated.
