I built a new PC and mapped my server in windows like I did the old PC and while copying everything back over, I noticed I am getting incredibly slow transfer speeds. I used to start with a burst of 100 MB\s + and slow to 70-80 MB\s but now I start off at a few megs a sec and go up a little. At this moment I am transferring at 12.1 MB\s

I am using Windows 64bit and my motherboard is Asrock Z97 Extreme6/3.1.
 
Napp-it is a "NASifier" of a general use enterprise ZFS OS like Oracle Solaris, free forks like OmniOS or Openindiana but also Linux options like Debian or Ubuntu.

You should add infos like
- your OS
- your ZFS config (HBA,vdev,disks, cache)
- your nic on server and client side
- any other infos ex "speed enhancer" like TeraCopy
- your test tool ex "NAS performancde tester 1.7" or Windows 8 copy stat
- single large file or many small files

With many small files, single vdev, tools like TeraCopy, low RAM, client nics like Realtek, your values are as expected.
 
Sorry for not posting all the info needed, I think it could have been because of many small files.
 
probably figured it out already, but it sounds like your nic is stuck at 100mbit

12.1x8 =96.8 mbits
