Napp-it failed drive/ZFS notification

There is this Pushover service used to send (push) notifications to Anroid/iOS devices. I would like to use it to send instant notifications of drive failures with napp-it/ZFS/Solaris.

Email never really worked for me here :(

How would you approach it? In PHP or other: https://pushover.net/faq#library-php

I will very much appreciate your insight.
 
I'd use perl due to if you are using napp-it. Perl is already installed.

Then just figure out how to call the script upon a disk failure. Napp-it has alert feature you could create and see what cron job it created/looks like. Modify to your liking.
