Hey Everyone..
I just purchased a Nv 5 Silencer and a Thermalright XP 120 to cool my new rig and this stuff came highly recomended.. Nanotherm PCM+ Thermal Compound. I usaully go for arctic silver. Anyone have any expierence with this stuff? Is it safe for gpu, I believe its non conductive, and it was ungodly expensive for thermal goop.

If you do a search on the stuff, you will see that many many people HATE it.
Lots of people got funny marks/spots on the heat sink from it.
They say its been changed, but its been a dead product ever since.
Stick with AS5

I've used PCM+, but only for my cpu. It seemed to work fine without any problems. The only issue was the application. It is kind of weird. Its not a paste, but a liquid. I also read about the marks on the heatsinks. It seemed to affect mostly the copper heatsinks. My heatsink is mostly aluminum, with a little bit of copper. I did take it apart to look and didn't find any problems. After taking it apart, I decided to try AS5. Nice thing about PCM+ is its very easy to clean. After trying both, I would lean toward AS5. Temperature readings were a couple of degrees better with AS5.
