I'm looking to find a laptop with/near to the following specifications so I can play Diablo 3 when it comes out while having the ability to use the internet, check emails and type documents etc.

Processor: Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 5600+ 2.8 GHz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® 260 or ATI Radeon™ HD 4870

So which laptop has near to these specifications? Is this a good setup or can you recommend a better bang for buck setup?
I'll be looking at the second-hand market so would appreciate brand/model numbers

Asus G50/G71 series.

I'd look into Dell/Alienware refurbs.

Any specific models? Any recommendations where to find them/average price?

is battery life a factory? Do you care about the size of the laptop?

Check the Dell outlet site. Generally they have pretty great prices (and the dell outlet twitter page often has decent coupons too).

Also notebook reviews has a pretty lively forum. Check to see if theyve got a for sale section. Then craigslist/ebay. Pretty much any alienware from the last two years will do around what you want. Also look for any RoG asus laptop g5x/g7x. Asus laptops tend to be a bit cheaper than their alienware counterpart in the used market, i guess due to brand...

Battery life isn't a significant factor, no. Laptop should be between 15" and 17"
