Near the beginning, theres a part where it shows the supra drifting a corner, and in the backgrouind you hear a camera clicking away.

Can anyone name it? I'm tempted to say its a Nikkon D70..but I don't think the D70 can shoot that quickly in full auto mode.

I'm just wondering what kind of camera can shoot that fast...and curiosity about what camera they're actually using. :p

lol that sounds like a 20D or a 1D/1DmkII to me, if its canon, that is way too fast to be a D70

It sounds like a Canon 20d, and it matches the 5FPS. (The 1D / 1D Mark II cameras can also be set in a low-speed 5FPS mode, but they sound different) It's really noisey, and I become self concious when I shoot performances / musical performances because this thing is so loud with each frame shot.

I also suspect that the AF mode is AI-Servo, and that the camera's C.Fn-4 is set to 0 or 2 because the first shot rattles off ontime, but some of the shots in a sequence have a delay when the car is headed towards/away from the camera (at the 33 second mark in the video).

Judging from the burst in the 53 second mark in the video, that 20d is also set in JPEG mode. I only get a burst of 6 pictures in RAW mode.

Aye lol. I love this advanced analysis of just the shutter sound heard on a supra clip.

It gets worse when watching TV... :p

I might be following a football pass, but the moment I see a white "L" lens my eyes leave the ball and follows the camera & lens off the screen. I haven't been able to identify my lenses very well from these quick glimpses though since there are still many white lenses I haven't seen up-close in person.

Also on TV, there was an advertisement for a TV show like one of those crime investigation ones. Some lady had a D70 with an SB-800 on it. I thought only the 20d had a chance at standing as evidence with the evaluation/verification kit avaliable from Canon. But that was besides the point, because she was using a wide-angle lens to take a picture of something (probably a small glove) ~30 feet away in a tree. I don't even remember what show it was for because they messed up how to use the camera equipment properly...

Man, im so guilty of that all as well hahahaha! The best tho is when in a crime show, like CSI, they have the person taking a picture of someting in the crime scene over and over, like a body, as the characters are talking. They will take pictures of the exact same thing. So dumb :p
