naked vga ram?

ok so i got my new g92 8800gts in today and i put it in and play some games just to get a feel for it before i slap on the waterblock and bsod after a bit, probably overheated so i cranked up the leaf blower on it and it seems cooler but i want to put my block on it, problem is i don't have any ramsinks left, think it's ok to run 'em naked?

i did on my 7800gt and it seemed fine for like 2 years!

ya it would probably be ok, but just for the sake of longevity I would get some ramsinks asap and maybe have a silent fan blow on the card...

ya depends on the card and type of ram some barly get warm. my 8800gt ram sinks feel cold in my case wish i wouldn't have wasted time thermal epoxying them on.
