I have no experience with small systems. I've looked at various builds and understand you can get just about any proc/gpu in case... so my question is: what, if any, are the performance sacrifices in a small form-factor build?
 
Heat, limited overclocking and expandability are a few things off the top of my head.
 
I secongd the heat issue. I have conquered the heat issue with my CPU, but my 8800GTS 640mb card is a different story. I have to use the stock heatsink because I am using a extreme music sound card and it is right next to the card. OH well, The Fall and Winter are on there way so that will definitely help.I live in upstate NY.
My idle temp is at the moment : 59c , room temp 72 Fahrenheit.
Arctic cooling is supposed to be coming out with a VGA cooler for these cards sometime next month. We will see!
Overall, I am very happy with my SFF verture. If you have the proper cooling and Hardware, you should enjoy great performance
