I have had the  Koolance:confused: 601-b kit for about a year and a half now, cooling my nf2 chip, 2500 barton, and Radeon 9700np. Recently, I decided I needed something faster, so I bought a 3.0HT p4, abit IC-7 Max 3 mobo, and stuck with the video card. I am trying to find a way to use water cooling on the chipset, but ABIT decided to remove the holes, and use hooks instead for their default cooling. Here is a good picture of my dilemma:

My questions are:

If there is an option to water cool this chipset, where can I buy it?

Is there any problems with just upgrading the pump/res on the 601-b kit, since it is all "compaq-ed" in the case, or do I have to stick with Koolance? I am really happy with the block, and the radiator, but i feel like a chicken $h!t buying a pre-assembled mod.

I am in Las Vegas, so buying parts locally isn't all that good. We have Fry's, but all they have there are 3rd or 4th return parts it seems. If anyone has any good sites that sell at comparable prices, feel free to link them in exchange for my gratitude.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to stick with Koolance parts.. unless they use some kind of crazy tube ID. Even then.. there are ways around that.

check www.frozencpu.com for chipset water blocks

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, all of the chipset blocks on frozenCPU seem to be screwed into the motherboard. I really hate to wire-tie my chipset block to the chipset, but I think that may be the only way. Standards are sooooooo nice.:D

opinion time guys,

Does anyone think that the active chipset cooling solution is sufficient for overclocking on this board, because I hate having an 80% watercooled case. It's all or nothing. Does anyone know where I can just buy a clip?
