N00b question time

I finally got my 8800GS multi-GPU box up and running. Both are crunching without issues (I used 2 console versions, copied folder and edited the flags) using 177.84 CUDA driver.

Now, I need to overclock both and EVGA Precision seems unable to overclock the second card so I need some info about how to overclock both cards (keep in mind both are identical, same brand). Laugh at me all you want for being a n00b but be reassured that I will learn fast

Riva tuner has a drop down so you can select what card your tweeking at a time.

Question: I have used Riva Tuner v2.09 successfully on my 2x nVIDIA GPU's (8800gt, 8800gs) and I am very satisfied. I was wondering if it would be in anyway beneficial to upgrade to Riva Tuner v2.10. What advantages (or newer capabilities) does Riva Tuner v2.10 have over Riva Tuner v2.09

Could you put it in simple layman's terms please, I'm really confused ATM and I do love my Riva Tuner . I only have 88xx series cards and it seems to me (a complete IT layman) they were concentrating on the newer nVIDIA and ATI cards. I also noticed they said something about the ForceWare 175.xx, 177.xx, yada, yada drivers. Don't you need at least the 175.xx or above driver to use the GPU2 client (or maybe it was a 177.xx driver, I can't remember what brother Xilikon or SmokeRngs said ) ? (I'm using the 177.89 driver in one boxen and the 177.83 driver in the other) I really have no ideer what "Added Catalyst 8.5, 8.6, 8.7 and 8.8 drivers detection" means unless it's the different nVIDIA card series. It also said something about it " Added AMD RV770 graphics processors family support.", but I only use Intel's Q6600's or E6600's ATM, so it's no big deal to me, right? What I'm really wondering is ATM would it be beneficial to upgrade from v2.09 to v2.10? WTF does "currently RivaTuner doesn't support direct access to generic I2C bus and flashrom on RV770 GPUs" mean. Hellllllppppp......., I'm a' drowning in all this information.

Man, I'm beginin' to think you gotta' be smarter than a "rocket scientist" to use the GPU2 client.

The shaders move in 54 Mhz steps, the core and memory in 9 Mhz steps.

Try 1730 Mhz or even 1785 Mhz next.
I use the "Scan for artifact" test in ATITools to check the overclock.
If you see artifacts in the spinning cube after a couple of mins then take it down a step.

From what I can gather after a quick glance, it looks like mostly supporting newer models of GPUs and driver versions. Other than not having the message that it doesn't support my driver version when I first start it, I don't see a compelling reason to upgrade for my 8800 myself.
