Hi All,

1 - How can I setup a RAID on my system (see signature please).

2 - Which one is better RAID 0, 1 or 0+1 ?

Many thanks in advance!

Sorry, here!

Pentium®4 2.8 GHz
Abit IT7-MAX2 Mushkin DDR 2700 [1GB Total]
ATi RADEON™ 9800 Pro [128MB]
Maxtor 120GB 7200RPM (8MB Cache) HDDs (X2 - 240GB Total) Microsoft® Windows XP® Professional OS

I need RAID for gaming purposes baby! :)

RAID 0+! is the best solution if the criteria is performance and redundancy
(as the only level that increases performance but still provides redundancy)

the drawbacks are
50% storage efficency
with a ATA ROMB (RAID on Mainboard) the difference between Hardware and Software RAID is greatly semantics, it will be impacting the CPU and both stripe and mirror will be more impact than either alone, there are highend cards\external arrays where this isnt true, having dedicated processors
