n00b Power Supply Install Question

Just got the Antec TruePower 550, is the fan supposed to be facing down blowing air to the bottom of the case, or is it supposed to be facing up?

Either way, unless the fan has a direct blowhole out of the case, it'll be blowing air into it. But, you'll find that generally PSU fans inside the case will suck air into the PSU which will then be pushed out the back by a second fan.

Therefore, it dosent matter which way you install it [to my knowledge], so long as the fans aren't obstructed.

The power supply fan faces down into your case, sucking hot air up off of the CPU area.

Naturally, if you have an "upside down case" where the PSU is located at the bottom, then the fan will face up.

Thanks, thats the way I had it, but then started second guessing myself because every pic including the ones on the box, had the power supply with the fan facing up.

If you're showing a picture of just the PSU, you can't take a picture of the PSU facing down. Unless you flipped the photo, of course.
