I am not sure it would work well with that high a wattage processor... Worth a try I suppose, but I would be afraid of hotspots if the water doesn't move across the whole CPU well.

A Copper waterblock will spread the heat out such that there is no real worry of hotspots. Heat transfer across a block of copper is pretty good so as long as parts of the waterblock get well cooled you don't have to worry about hotspots.
