Mystery Video Card

[filecore]

I just came across a video card at a friend's flat when helping him move, he gave it to me and neither of us can find out what it is exactly. I've searched Google and found mostly websites in Russian, and a couple of non-informative English language pages, and a German eBay. Anyway hope someone can help, here's the card details:

Diamond Multimedia Inc
Fire 1k Pro agp atx 8mb PCI
Rev 'D'
S/N: 3380100002205
P/N: 23130023-461

It also has a number FAB 22130019-007 on the PCB itself.

Sounds like an ATi Rage Pro PCI, though that's just a hunch. Have you stuck it into a WinXP/2000 box to see what it is detected as?

Was a decent card in its day, not really useful for much other than simple 3d screensavers today. Looks to be supported pretty well under Linux.
