Mystery Intel processor on eBay

given that intel hasn't had the listing taken down yet, i bet these are old prototypes that they discarded or gave away. nothing "confidential" about them

I think I would have a really hard time (cause I'm immature) working with anything that has 'Front of Prober' written on it. :D

Pretty sure its a Pentium Pro powered nacho platter or a part of the antigravity drive core of the Roswell UFO. Or a nerd frisbee. Can't decide which.

for some reason i read that as Rosewill UFO... i was like awww you know the generic newegg UFOs are just as good as the name brands....

Whoever that person is on E-Bay is in some VERY deep shit. First of all, that should not be on E-Bay for many reasons. I cannot give you guys "all" the details, but that is a prototype for an L-Class Quantum Divergence Memristor CPU. They were used in the late 2080's -- first in military applications after the Great Coastal War and then later for ISEA (successor to what you would call NASA). ISEA, or International Space Exploration Association, stopped using those in the early 2090's due to uncontrollable neutron radiation spikes.

Actually, I know who this particular person actually is. He was employed with TEA (Temporal Enforcement Agency) but turned into a rogue time traveler after his wife left him for what you would call an android. This particular person just went back to the early 1950's and just gave a person by the name of Gordon Teal information on how to perfect crystal growth of high purity. The transistor wasn't supposed to be invented until the late 60's, but now the entire time line is screwed up and there is human junk all over the surface of the moon because this asshole wanted to make a few extra bucks.

I need to return to my time period to repair some of the damage this man has done. You guys shouldn't even have Ivy Bridge processors right now. In fact, Intel shouldn't even be a company. And what is with this Facebook bullshit?

^ True story bro.

Seriously though; great post. Excellent way to start the morning.

Pretty cool piece of hardware that otherwise would never see the light of day. Makes you wonder what other kinds of cool equipment/machines that construct what surrounds our daily lives we will never see or know about.

Looks like a transmission clutch plate, maybe it's for Kitt's car from Knight Rider
