Hey guys,

I would like to compare my results from 3dmark 01 and 03 to some of yours just to see if everything is running 'normally'

My 3dmark 03 score: 12,500
My 3dmark 01 score: 26,400


System Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3400+ @2.31 ghz
X800 XT PE - stock speed
1 GB OCZ Platinum pc3500

Is this about right or should I be seeing higher numbers? If you have a link to a site that shows results that would be good too.
 
I havent run 01 but I have run 03. Oh yeah and I have a 6800gt. I get about 11k in 03 with a p4 2.53 and 1gig ram.
 
u had AA./AF off right? i got around that score on my 6800 GT with clocks at 425/1150 :/

athlon XP 2700 (tbred) runnin at 200 FSB 12 mult(2400mhz)
1 gig of PC 3200 dual channeled with timings of 2.5 3 3 8

soundblaster audigy LS

very strange that ur scores are close to equal to mine
 
Yeah Xxplosiv, your score, looks high and his looks low. Original poster: Did you reinstall Windows after installing your new card?
 
somwhere between 9900 and 10200, tested a few times before i started OCin to make sure i didnt have a bum card
 
o yeah, i optimized windows as much as i could also, that might be whats factoring in :)
 
The 3DM3 score looks about right, I've got a 3.4GHZ P4, X800 XT PCI-E running at stock speeds on both, and with Cat 4.8's I get 12,222.
 
Thx guys. Good to know. It is also a fresh install of windows. (there was a 9800xt on it b4)

One more quick question, does the x800xt pe overclock very well?? And do you have to use powerstrip to do it? or does the ati overdrive basically do the same thing?
 
you can't really compare 3dmark scores to ATI cards versus NVIDIA cards

the NVIDIA cards are typically higher

try some game performance and compare
 
My X800 Pro scored higher in 2001, than my GT did. But the GT scores higher in 03, than the Pro did.

Xxplosiv, you cant compare a GT overclocked past Ultra levels to a stock XT/PE.
