OK, this is strange, I have the video card listed below as well as all the other parts, My games (ALL), are freezing about every 1 1/2 to 3minutes, the screen will reload and I can contiue playing, or very rarely it will just freeze up all together, I have updated all drivers and done everything I can think to do. It plays movies wondefuly, I am stumped.

If you have any ideas or can help, that would be great, Thank you all.

Unplug the Rosewill RCR-102 52-in-1 USB 2.0 Card Reader.

Ensure that all Optical drives are using DMA.

Disable crossfire (if that's possible on an X2).

assuming that u install everything properly, the drivers too. And there is no Overclocking involved i'd say it's a power issue. XIGMATEK PSU? never heard of that one before

I had similar problems with my system as well and it turned out to be bad RAM.

Why diable crossfire?

And this isnt the first system I have built, can somebody tell another power suply vendor to go with?

No overclocking either.

pfftt!!! Corsiar!! get a HX1000W FTW !!!

try testing the vid card in another PC,
if u can't do this, then unplug everthing, leave only, the CPU, MOBO, RAM, CPU fan, HD, and vid card plugged in. Then test your system using 3dmark and see if it still freezes

Run memtest for a couple of hours too, make sure it isn't your RAM. Maybe a prime95 torture test following that

I really need that much power to drive this box? Will a Corsiar 750W work?

And will do, thanks.

Haha, no, you won't need 1000watts... 750-850 should be fine.

But definitely stick with a PSU from a well-known company that gets consistently good reviews, I.E. Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, etc...

I have a Mushkin psu that I am in love with, but I only got it because it got great reviews, has plenty of power over four 12v rails, and was didn't cost that much after rebate. (The mirrored finish and green LEDs make it look purdy too, lol)

Both of those look good. I haven't personally used the mushkin psu, but i respect the brand. I have had a lot of luck with my PSU and am extremely satisfied though. Check out the sig and see if its in your price range. Corsair makes some spectacular memory, though if i had to pick..i would go with G.Skill. My patriot memory was a mistake, overclocks like shit.
