does anytone know any good linux lcd/vfd tools so i can get my vfd displaying something?

Im running debian but that shouldnt make a difference....

please link me... im kind of like bog
 
i sure am not writing one, neither are the major VFD writers here. maybe someone else new who knows the stuff can?

i dont know if any linux apps already done, sorry
 
LCDProc is a pretty good one. I've used another one but I can't think of its name right now.
 
note that he is talking about a noritake 800a 128x64 display...

AFAIK unless you want to learn C++ you are SOL

i have the source for a driver for the 800a in C++ but its is dependant on DLPortIO so you would have to figure out how to do that in *nix
 
well... im like 2 seconds from just being like "god hates me" but hey I got the dual monitors working really nicly... its really nice to do work....

so right now its
linux for browsing web and email and other bs
windows for music games and being slow
