i just went on a shopping spree for computer parts a couple days ago at newegg and this is what i have upgraded to:

Abit NF7-S mobo (i have optical out via monster cable going to a 600 watt DD 5.1 receiver)
2500+ barton with AS5
1024 MB Mushkin Level 2 pc2700 ram
120 GB western digital SATA
antec truepower 430 watt
lian-li pc-61 case
NEC FE991SB-BK 19" monitor
Radeon 9800 pro 128 MB
MX500 mouse

What can i use to overclock my barton (which software)? i have that as5 paste and i have the 4 80mm Lian-Li fans running full speed in my case. retail heatsink on barton...
 
i would NOT recomend software overclocks, just use the BIOS!! :D
 
I would have gone with atleast PC3200 to overclock. Munshkin is great.. but PC2700 is going to limit you to low FSBs. I'd rather have a high FSB overclock than a high multiplier overclock.
