Just added a 3000+ Athlon64 and MSI K8T NEO-FSR to my main rig....I just had shoulder surgery last week....I got it up and running...but man, that was a bitch with one arm

I couldn't get it to post...I then saw the video card fan wasn't turning??? The only thing I could think of was "power". There is an extra square power connector on the motherboard that my Antec PSU didn't have a lead for. I had a 450watt TTGI PSU laying around that did have that lead on it...switched them out, and it booted just fine.

Anyone else run into this? Any way around it, or is my Antec 400w PSU worthless to me now?

Yeah, thats the power for the processor by the sounds of it. It also sounds like the PSU can't be used anymore. Sorry.

thanks foe the linkage...I think I'll make a post or three and mull it over a bit :)

Man, given the average IQ in the [H], sometimes I wonder about you guys... :p

Now now... even a high IQ can't save you from being human...

thanks for the adapter linkage! However...I'm just going to have my company buy a new PSU for my "Production System" and retire the Antec for my "Test System" :D

Or putting your shoes on the wrong feet. Not a jab. I've replaced case fans cause they weren't plugged in, so guilty as charged.
