I really don't care about looks when it comes to my setups, I want the most functional thing I can find. You may now throw up in your mouth! LOL! :D

Temps are rediculous! 33*C Idle, 43*C Load on CPU @ 3.0GHz with 8800GTX's at 49*C IDLE, 55*C FULL LOAD while gaming SLI on the 30" at max res! woot!!

It's not pretty, but it's my hand built UberMicro with watercooling thanks to Petra and all of you at the [H]!!!

The rest of my setup:

Quad MacPro (my baby!) pushing 2TB of storage, X1900XT, 3Gigs Ram, etc. etc. Cinema Display, Klipsch ProMedias, etc. =) MacBook Pro on top.

LOL you're too kind. Those blue box-frames holding the radiator up are from an old fiberglass ladder I didn't need anymore. The brown peice holding them together is from a Russian Ammo crate that held rounds for my Dragonov SVD Sniper Rifle LOL!

I especially like the upside-down CD-R/DVD-R case (with discs inside!) holding up the res. ^^;

30" Apple Cinema Display! ^_^

They're the smallest monitors/TV's in my house.
 
no really, the closest gun store I'm aware of is somewhere in Ontario.

on topic: How did you get the DD fillport into the XSPC res? (what tap did you use?)
 
I believe it was just a 1/2 in. tap. It was a pain in the butt too, it kept rotating in the vice grip until I clamped it down flat.

I sold my Dual G5 in favour of something with a bit more disk space... I'm currently setting my new storage tower up for at least 5 500gb disks... Not including the Raid 0 250gb System drives.

Are you at your limit for storage? (4x 500s?)

OT: I want a sniper rifle...

That "office" room looks HORRIBLE. The house has not been reonvated in 27 years, and I started in the living room and I'm working my way back toward the bedrooms. I'll put a pic of my living room up as proof that I'm renovating. I'm the kind of guy that waits to do things right, so hardwood floors and new sheetrock walls are going up, along with upgraded wiring for electrical.


That flooring is SHAG carpet! :eek: Yeah...it's bad.

Also, I was helping a friend track his workout programs, since thats what I do for a living. So I was using that whiteboard to write some example plans for him.

PS. get your gun out for the lads! Here in the UK the only guns we see are when the armed police are chasing 'homebred' terrorists, or in the movies. Thankfully.

Starting my Graduate degree soon, combined Masters/Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. :cool:

I especially love your living room setup. I have the same TV (I think) and just moved into my first house, so you gave me some great decoration/setup ideas.

What speakers are those on the sides of the TV? (Are those speakers? :eek: )

Those are Martin Logan Speakers. I have a full Martin Logan setup. Vignette center channel and rears, Clarity front speakers, and the Abyss subwoofer. Powere by a Yamaha RX-V2700 amp.

It ROCKS!! I used to install and sell VERY high end audio/video equipment. It's been a dream of mine to have this setup.

Thats nothing! We've been offered $130,000 on the spot at car shows for it. This car is extremely rare and well documented. The cars you see going for 75k are the 400hp cars, the 427, 435hp cars with 6-pack carbs, matching numbers with tank stickers, etc. are closer to $150,000 right now. :D

I'm going to unload it at Corvette Carlisle this year, in PA in the spring. 08' Viper here I come!!!
