3D Mark 2005 = 5011


Hi everybody. I've been having a blast with my current system and I was just checking to make sure that my 3D Mark 2005 score (5011) seemed about right for my type of a setup. I do notice some drops in my framerates (not much) in games like WOW, HL2, Far Cry etc. Everything is maxed out at 1280x1024, but Id think that my experience should be flawless.
I was surprised that I needed to overclock my 6800GT to Ultra speeds to get rock solid frame rates. Why is gaming in the highest quality not availabe in a standard GT? Also are my memory timings slow at all? Can and should they be adjusted to more agressive timings?
What type of performance should I expect from a righ like mine? Thank you very much for your help.
