OK, here's one for you. On my mother in laws computer, I've got NOD32 installed, and frequently run ad-aware for her. She's got a rather perplexing problem. Whenever she loads IE (including IE7) her printer starts spitting out pages with little smiley faces on them. This does not happen with FF, but some of her business apps require IE.
I've run a NOD32 deep scan for viruses, and it came up clean; but this starts happening the second IE is loaded. I'm going to run a few more sypware tools later, but does anyone have any idea what this is and how to kill it? I don't have enough time to be to thorough at the moment, so I'm hoping it's a known entity.
It's a relatively new install XP Pro w/SP2 and all windows updates applied.
