I got a Seasonic X-850 gold (older version without the hybrid on/off button)
and it seems that things fan never ever spins. One indicator is the dust filter of the corsairs
400r case.....its totaly clean all the time.
got 1 gtx 560 runiing
z77a gd65 mobo
wd 500gb hd
dvd
and 4 120fans and 2 140Fans...6 fans in total.

Its not like im having issues with the PSU at all , but shouldnt that fan spin at some point
its so silent that it start to scare me that i got a faulty product.

Info is appreciated

What cpu do you have and is your system over clocked? That psu is a beast and you probably aren't pulling enough for it to break a sweat.

My system at summer speeds (4.0ghz cpu / 1202mhz video) barely touches 350w when cpu/gpu folding just for reference.

Coffa thank for your reply first.
My cpu is a nonpumped 3570k sandy on the bridge :D
i bought my system having OC in mind but i discovered that im too scared and green behind my ears to
make any a attempts in that department

You're never going to load that PSU enough to cause the fan to spin with that system. Your system will max out around 400-450 watts. The fan probably kicks in around 600-650 watts, depending on your ambient temps.

thnak you Tsumi , i was scared that the psu is faulty ...now reading this relieved

What are your temps @ load with your cpu? There is really nothing to be scared of when over clocking those chips. There are safeguards built in that should prevent you from borking something. Main thing is not to crank the voltage. Best way to learn is to play around but I understand where you are coming from.
