My Pc is Wont Shutdown

Well i recently got a new motherboard and installed it all without any problems. I loaded windows and all was fine. But then i tried to shutdown. The pc does the usual, "windows is shuttting down", the screen goes black for a few seconds like it should and the it just begins to boot up again. The only way can turn it off is by switching the power suppy off. I thought it might be a faulty power suppy so got a new one but the same happend . Please help me

Whats you hardware and OS.
Switch of auto-restart in System Properties -> Advanced -> Startup & Recovery.
That way if it gives you a BSOD you can read it and post what it says.
Sounds like a bad driver somewhere.
