I'm proud of myself
although kinda mad i couldn't quite get 3 ghz stable.
Specs:
AMD Opteron 146
Cooler Master Hyper TX2 Cooler
DFI NF4 Ultra-D Not modded, BIOS date is March 29th, 2006
512MB of Corsair PC3200 Value RAM
Radeon X850 Pro
Vantec 350 watt Power supply
standard CD Burner and FLoppy drives, along with an 80GB Western Digital IDE Drive.
Screenie:
295HTT, 10 multiplier, 2950 final OC frequency.
CPU Vcore 1.5 in BIOS, 1.472 in Windows both idle and load.
Chipset voltage 1.6, RAM, PCI Express, HTT Bus Voltage stock
final RAM timings were 2.5,3,2,3, RAM speed is 196 Mhz
Prime stable for about 10 hours, played call of duty for a few hours as well.
Temps are about 40C Idle, 50C Load.
I tried to hit 3 ghz stable, but even 1.55 volts wouldn't do it, and it wasn't worth the extra heat or chip-life reduction. Chipset or RAM settings wouldn't fix this either (played with timings, dividers, voltages, etc.)
BUT
I'm only 50mhz from 3 ghz, so i'm happy
