No longer have to worry about backups being unreadable! :D Nothing like a little "redundancy!" Should be able to pump out about 18dvd/hour... Though starting to wish I'd gone for the 7bay... lol only kidding. 3 copies of data is more then enough :)

Well I couldn't find the ACARD IDE controller to buy seperately anywhere. Everywhere seemed to sell the controller + the housing... So all I did was chuck a DVD-ROM and 3xDVD-Writer... I'm contemplating whether or not to put a Hard-Disk in now :p

hes probably working on the assumption
that a duplicator tower requires a HDD

which it doesnt :p

like a HDD or extra memory for a printer
its handy but not necessary

Duplicating Controllers
Our Standalone CD/CDRW & DVD/DVDRW Duplicator Controllers allow you to duplicate CD/CDRW & DVD/DVDRW. You will be able to duplicate up to 105 (full 700MB) CD-R per hour or 28 (full 4.7GB) DVD-R/DVD+R an hour. CalOptic's Standalone CD/CDRW & DVD/DVDRW Duplicator Controller operate independent from your computer, all it needs is AC power.
