Here are the specs of the new system i put together today:

Total: 723.21

Here are the Benchmarks I have got on it so far not bad for a computer i tried not to spend too much on. I also scored a 6603 in 3DMark05

I am have exact same case (i bought the black windowless version). Plus i also have the same biostar mb. Its very stable motherboard plus you can overclock it well. But i have a amd64 3500cpu. With a 6800 ultra pci modded with a v700 gpu heatsink. on the cpu i have the zalman 7700 copper. I have xms ddr 550s. and the with a creative platinum. Oh and of course i have my raptors.

What impressed me about the case was not only the quality but the decent power supply. The thing is quiet and stable. Now thats very impressive.

FYI, The psu is a piece of shit. I'd get that replaced ASAP, or it could very well take down your system if it decides it wants to go out. Look at the Enermax Liberty, or Seasonic S12.

Awwwwww man that wasnt very nice. Anyway just kidding with you. So far the thing is running smoothly. Gave it to a friend to test it out for me (the same dweeb who stole my BF2 ). Since he didnt have a pc i knew he would use the thingy for hours on end and for several weeks and it ran perfectly with no glitches. But of course i agree. Im no assuming that the psu is perfect in any way im just saying that it works nice until your ready to get antoher one.
 
My PSU is still working great, but then I am only oc just a little :)
 
See the FAQ on Qpacks in the SFF FAQ thread (last page). There is a review there of this PSU.

Out of all the things you don't want to break, the PSU should be at the top of the list..it it goes, normally it takes something with it. If you are really unlucky it takes most everything. This PSU has been known to cause damage and really mess up parts. I suggest getting a PSU recommended by the people here. Someone said Seasonic..they are good, I have an Ultra X-finity was is pretty and good (actually I have the seasonic too though).

DON'T RISK IT...just buy another one.
 
what program i that you use to monitor your stuff

i havent found one that does soo many thing with the biostar

MBM doesnt work at all, and smart fan only has like 1 temperature that works

That is the program that comes on the Biostar motherboard utility cd. I use it myself, pretty neat looking too.

BTW, I don't think you need the vcore up that high!
 
ya i turned the vcore down at first i was testing witht he auto overclock function of the TForce but when saw it put it up so high i turned it back to normal and turned up the HTT. Here is the new CPU-Z i think its at a much better level now. this is the first processor ive had that I can accually overclock so im still expermenting.

Good job! Stay away from that auto-overclock option in bios, it is teh devil. I had good luck with my 144 with the tforce, just make sure you give the latest bios a whirl, it may help you get a higher OC.

I saw similar temps with my 144 also when I put a lot of volts through it with the stock cooler. I have to say, I was pretty surpised at how cool my 144 would run at 2.8ghz with a 1.55vcore... ~30c idle! Looks to me like you will get a nice OC out of that setup. :D
 
ya im very surprissed at the temps im getting with only the stock heatsink and fan. I just got it up to 2.3 GHZ and its still ~30C. Im gonna not go any furthwer untill i get a new heatsink/fan but for now 700 MHZ is good. I cant get over how good this thing overclock on the stock voltage and with no upgrade for the heatsink and fan.
 
I had the stock cooler on my 144/146's while I was checking out what the chips could do on air. My max load temps were high 40's with the stock cooler on average. Don't be afraid to open up the throttle a little bit with that stock cooler, I just went to water cooling to keep the load temps lower.

Looking good so far, keep on tinkering!
