Hey Everyone,

I just built my first pc. It's not all completely new, hard drives came from last pc, as did the DVD drive and 512 mb of ram, but it's a nice upgrade. I came from a p4 2.4A, and I purchased a sempron 64 2800+, a Tforce 6100, X800Xt and 1 gig of ram. I oced my sempron 64 to 270 fsb which is 2154 MHZ, 275 wouldn't prime stable.

 
ah, nice set up, im sure you can hit beyond 275htt with a voltage bump and expect to hit 2.7ish with 1.6+ volts ;)

Super pi 1M was 51 seconds.

I suppose I could up the voltage and mess with the timings a bit, but I am pretty satisifed with 2150, considering its a 550 mhz over clock. At any rate thanks for the comments. The build/overclock were possible because of the people on this forum, so thanks everyone!
 
Yeah, if you're looking for some more performance I'm sure you'd be able to crank out a few extra hundred Mhz by a voltage bump. Make sure you've got some decent cooling.

I'm sorry to hear that you built your first rig :(. It's kinda like crack it only takes one time to get hooked.
