was rooting around in my basement storage area today and what do I find? why its the speakers from my vinly turntable stero setup (all I have left of it)
they are a pair of JVC speakers, to be specific:
JVC Model SK-101.

I can't find any specs on em, but they do sound great still :D

I'd be happy if I found more speakers I could put to use...
After seeing the setup you put together this summer I have to ask where would you put them? lol

Well actually I would only be happy for 5 seconds then try to get rid of them. But I would be happy long enough to make a post about it. :D

what setup would that be  im at a loss, mayhaps you have confused me with some one else?

that or im having a brain fart. :D

Make some cash selling them to a buddy... that's what I probably would do with them.

ok found a sheet of paper with "some" info on them in my old manuals.

lets see hmm.

Woffer 10" (25cm) cone type
midrange 2 1/4th" (6cm) cone type
tweeter 2" (5cm) cone type

power handling:
80 watts (peak)
40 watts (RMS)?

Independance: 8 ohm

Frequency response: 40hz - 20,000 hz

Crossover frequncies: 4,000hz, 10,000hz

Heh, sounds kind of like mine

10" woofer, 3.5" mid, 1.75/2" tweeter (didn't measure that one).

200W (ok so that's a big difference), 8ohms, crossovers at 3000 and 6000

sensitivity is supposedly 92dB at 1 meter. dunno how much i'd believe it but i've never tested em
