Hey guys. Over the weekend i finished up my new comp. This is only my second build and didn't really have any problems, she runs like a champ. Anything would run like a champ compared to what i use to run on, a P3 500mhz Compaq on a 15 inch monitor, i hate that thing hehe. I started buying the parts back in September and just now finished, hard to make $$$ being a student hehe. Anywase this is what i got!
P4 2.6C, Asus p4p800
512MB Crucial PC3200 (my only regret), Antec TruePower 430
ATI 9700 AIW, Audigy 2 (Sound blaster software sucks bad!)
Sony DW-U10A CD Burner/DVD burner, Maxtor 6Y120M0 120GB SATA
Thermalright slk-947U, 1 92MM intake, 2 80MM exhaust, 92MM fan on heatsink
Viewsonic G90FB 19 inch monitor
Logitech Elite keyboard, Logitech MX700 mouse
Vantec NXP-201 Fan controller, few lights, and a l33t floppy drive
On stock voltage i'm able to get the 2.6 up to 3.25. I run Prime95 and Folding together and my comp freezes if i clock any higher. I'm running my Crucial RAM at 2.5 3 3 6, at 5:4. I was able to get the video card up to 308 Core, 306 Memory. I idle at 33, and I've seen it get up to about 47 full load, but stays around 44. Here are my benchmarks:
PCMark: 4980
3DMark 2001: 16,834
3DMark 2003: 5,069
