If you read my original post (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1161656) you'll know that I just set up my first w/c system last weekend. After looking around and seeing some kick ass loops set up by others I was disappointed, so I decided to rip out all of the tubing....the joys of being a perfectionist.
It's far from perfect, but I think it's a hell of a lot better than the original.
I saw very little difference in temps for the most part....shaved off a few degrees. My load temps seems cooler, but idle is about the same. Flow is still excellent, even with the three 90 degree fittings in the loop. Swiftech MCP655 is running at the max setting, but I hear nothing. Great pump.
Lemme know what you think of my new loop!!!
This was my old loop
The loop has been.......butchered!!!
Seriously....Fluid XP doesn't taste all that bad. Just ask AppaYipYap.
Let's drill some holes!!
Holes turned out well. PVC fittings from your local automative store.
Tygon tubing is super clear......still don't like that last GPU loop. Bring out the cutters!!!
Finally done the insides. Much tighter.
Rad cover.
The rear.
