what do you think i should do next?

it should be noted his 9200 he's sportin. that's why it looks so easy to hide the wires with. ;)

i told him to get a lian-li after cut a hole in the top of his other case... and... it didn't look so neato...

try and get the mobo power wires to hide better.

you should stealth your drives, cut off the back fan grill if you havent yet, cut a second 80mm hole in the back below the existing fan and add another fan, throw two holes in the top for fans with a custom grill, cut out the two front "grills" and put on your own... Thats atleast what i plan on doing, other than the stealth already did that....

Dont fuck up blake, you have all the tools you need, its all up to the cutter now ;)

If you haven't already, cut the grill out of the back fan. It will increase airflow a lot. I would also cut a whole for a second 80mm in the back. A second fan fits perfectly in there.

'grats on the LiLi blake.....i love mine to death.

Here are a couple AWFUL shots of my cases innards to give you an idea of what I've done.

Here's a bit of an exterior shot of the window cut and a bit of the wiring.....nothing special really from this angle. Oh, and excuse the wire coming off my 120mm fan into the middle of the board, I was just too lazy to pull my soundcard out last time I took the panel off. ;) :

Sorry for the lighting, but its the best this cam can do. As you'll see, it is quite dedious to get wires behind the mobo plate in these cases without cutting any holes. Let me point out the two things I really hate about my Enermax PSU while we're on the topic of wiring. You'll notice that the ATX cable is covered in that irritating silver braiding. The braiding is supposed to act as shielding.....and is actually wired right into the connection to the mobo....so good luck taking it off. The second "point of interest" is that larger black bulge at the top righthand corner of the board. The PSU came with three connections (1 molex, 1 4pin aux connector, and another useless connection) grouped togethor into this black heatshrink. What I basically had to do was fold the other two back (didnt feel like cutting them off for some reason) and zip tie it all togethor. To add to the annoyance, the 4pin connection on this POS AI7 is in the opposite corner of the board, so i have to try and route that stupid black rubber along the board.....again, because I was too lazy to take teh board out and put it underneath. I'll be getting a new mobo soon so ALL this wiring will be re-done....and done right, routed under the mobo where necessary and such.

Just thought I'd share a bit with you guys.....as it was quite a process. This is not to discourage any Lian-Li owners.....I'm actually calling you on to do better then I have.....for now, my next job is gonna kick some serious ass.

Paul no need to hate on the Vid Card, lol

Well, it IS kinda cheating....do you have any idea how much nicer a lot of nicely wired cases would look if they didn't have to worry about routing a power cable the their video card? Geez.....I wish. Wait......no I don't. ;)

This is some very ass-backwards logic. It's cheating to have a less expensive video card?

it doesnt even affect my airflow, my chip is chillin at 100 degree F at all times, i think im ok on the whole airflow thing

Yeah, I wouldn't think it'd effect your airflow all that much either.....just looks gawd awful is all. ;)

Heh, maybe you just read it wrong....but I'm saying it's "cheating" with that el cheapo card 'cus he doesnt have to worry about cleanly routing a power cable up to his card.....which helps with wiring a lot in some cases. I'm coming from this from an extremely picky standpoint here (I'm obssesed with wiring in my comp) but it's the truth. ;)

oh i didnt get what he was saying by "Are you TRYING to kill your airflow? Unless of course your psu cables get that hot :-P"

the back fan should ALWAYS be blowing out. if it blows in you are just pulling in the heat of the PSU. it looks like its blowing out to me

It's ridiculously hard to tell (god i miss having my old digicam....froze the fans still ;) ) but it looks like it's exhausting to me.....from the little i can see of the blade angle there.

how bout you trust me on the fact it is blowing like crazy OUT

Heh, I GUESS it is your computer and you probly WOULD know which way the fan is pointing eh? :p It's all good dude.
