My new DVD Burner

Was just wondering if anybody had any comments on the performance of the pioneer DVR-106D. Good Burner? Bad Choice? All comments welcome
 
Mine has served me well in the 7-8 months I've had it...Horribly SLOW DVD ripping speeds, but great otherwise..Even burnt to really cheap 4x -R media fine, and playbacks are fine in multiple set-top and PC based readers.
 
The Pioneer is generally considered the best drive on the market since it can and will burn to even the shittiest media on the planet. A lot of burners will not do this, which is a pity.
