hey everyone... my new dtek parts came in a few days ago...

Here they are all put in:

I'm running 200x12 (2.4ghz) on a 2500+ with 27c idle. I'm extremely satisfied.

Dtek JR-120 w/ 120mm Evercool (no shroud)
Dtek White Water
Hydor L30
Some Clearflex 60

I've got a pump relay coming in the mail from Frozen cpu...
Then I can put the other side of my case on :D

Thoughts? Suggestions?

VERY NICE!

Hows that JR fit? did you need to mod the case any? Do you think it would fit a normal pro? (one inch taller and wider i think)

the case.... needed to be hacked a good bit.

Originally, there's an 80mm fan up top, and the case has a nice square cut up top.
I cut a 120mm circle around the square, cutting it as far toward the front of the case as I could, without the corners of the square showing anymore.

Now that there was a place to mount the fan, I needed to cut whatever was in the way of the radiator off. Which meant most of the PSU tray.

The PSU tray is almost worthless... it's screwed onto the back anyway.

I chopped the top bar off, as well as the whole back bar, and some of the front bar. This allowed the fan/radiator to fit.

If I wanted a shroud, I'd have to cut the bottom bar of the PSU tray off as well.

It was my first dremel job, so I won't show any pics... it's pretty bad.
Needless to say I need to spend a few hours with the sanding cone.
:D

As far as the Pro Core fitting... I was thinking about buying a Pro Core and taking my chances, but even with the JR-120 it's a VERY tight fit (even with the hacking).

The cooling difference is probably negligible, the JR-120 is giving me outstanding temps, even with no shroud and the fan on it's lowest setting (controlled by a coolermaster aerogate)
