I use the ASUS K8-V and I love it. It is very solid. As far as the parts, you have picked out some very good parts for the price. The only change I would recommed is getting a 6800 GT over the x800 Pro but that is just my opinion because the 6800 GT is just a 6800 ULTRA underclocked while the x800 Pro is not only slower than the x800 XT but only has 12-pipes vs the 16-pipes that (6800 GT & x800 xt) have.
