The CPU you got is a 754pin model, you need a 939 pin model to work with that mainboard. The 939 pin model does perform better due to the dual channel memory controller. So, get a 939 pin cpu like this:

Just a few other notes..

I would recommend an SATA drive though, the price difference really isn't that much.

I'd also be a bit leary about that power supply. The cheap power supplies that come with those cases are not very good when it comes to longevity or high performance parts. Just something to keep in mind.
A good powersupply can be had from Enermax(my favorite) or Antec TruPower.

Good specs, good post. You need a more solid power supply- the included one probably cost the manufacturer $5 :eek:
