I just finished my new build (specs in sig) and so far it seems really awesome! I am wondering if I got the BIOS stuff right, especially when it comes to my hard drives. So, I put my storage config drives as "RAID" (not ide or ahci). On my sata 1, I have my 300GB raptor and I installed my OS to that. I then connected my 1TB drives to sata 2 and 3 and I used the bios tool to configure those in a RAID 0 array. In windows, I went to disk management and saw the 2TB drive and formatted.
Is that right? Will having my storage set to "RAID" mess anything up it I have the 300GB on there and its not in raid?
Also, now that I have my stuff running all nice and stable, I think I'd like to OC my 920 a bit. I'm not looking for anything crazy, just something I can have it running at all times - maybe 3.20 ghz. So my question is, should I just change my BLCK setting to 160? Right now, I have my OC profile as "XMP" because my memory has a profile (which my mobo picked up right away).
Thanks!
