Hello all i just wanted to share my experience with MSI RMA. I read a lot of horror stories and wasn't expecting much. I live local to the RMA place in Walnut CA. My video card didn't really have a problem just a fan blade broke off was pretty certain RMA wouldn't cover that. I gave it a try anyways and dropped off my card to them told them the situation and then they made me wait, 10 mins later they came out with a box and told me to sign a paper, they said they replaced the card and i was all done. So i was very surprised and happy about the outcome of my RMA experience with MSI.

Well, being local to the RMA center helps immensely (since someone who can walk into your place of business can do so with a gun too).

The whole "through the mail" portion is the main reason why RMA can be a gigantic stabbing pain in the balls.

Pretty sure walking into the local RMA center isn't the same experience as people who need to mail in products from around North America :p

And why the heck would anyone think they wouldn't cover a fan blade breaking off?

He was probably worried about the "we don't cover physical damage policy"...lol what do you think asus would have told him? :) I will agree people treat you different when your standing in front of them -that goes for anywhere!

Rather than it being some sort of intimidation from being person to person, how about he simply got someone who was good. Should have got his name. Given him some recognition.

I get the same level of service from my ASUS RMA department in Markham, Ontario. No hassle advance replacement and drop-off at the local depot. Sure makes a difference.

Good on you to share a good experience OP. We hear more about bad experiences because the ones that are bothered to be shared are because they were bad.
