While sitting at home for the past few dyas recovering from foot surgery, I have had a lot of time to game this week and ponder my next upgrade. So without further adieu, here are my choices.
1. Upgrade my E6600 to a QX6700 or possibly an Extreme 6800?
2. Upgrade my Dell 2407 to a 3007 and take full advantage of the dual 8800GTX's and
enjoy the 25x16 resolution?
3. Buy both
4. Wait? Not
The E6600 works exceptionally well, no issues up to 3.7. My system is H20 cooled so cooling is not a problem. However this is my home system used mostly for pure enjoyment, such as gaming. My thought is that I will enjoy the bigger screen and the higher resolution much more than I will get out of the Quad. Thoughts?
