I'm giving my intel platform it's last shot in the arm!

Asus P4C800-E -> Abit IC7-Max3 (to avoid my current vcore fluctuation problems)
Kingston HyperX -> Gskill TCCD
Koolance Exos -> Custom water
Air Northbridge -> Water Northbridge
Tubing 1/4" -> 1/2"
Innovatek GPU cooling -> Danger Den Maze 4 (latest revision)

And lastly I'm going to swap out my ugly beige drives for a black dual layer burner.

I've got a mid-tower Lian-Li PC85

I'm really hoping I can get to 4ghz (daily) and my GPU to 650/640 (daily)

And if all this fails? I'm gonna switch to AMD for the next generation ;)

amd is better than intel right now as far as im concerned, price wise, stability wise, user friendly,then again i only built 1 intel based pc and 3 amd pc's. :p

Had first gen ath64 3200+ and had mobo issues... and sadly it still outperformed my p4 3.3 ic7-G setup. My A8V Deluxe / 3500+ 939 arrives wednesday and I will say good riddance to intel once again.

Odd that a 3200+ can beat out a 3.3 seeing as the barton core's were only good in gaming. as for amd and intel you can't really tell the diff when you using both high end and you don't have frames showing or even the bench marks i for one know that intels 64 bit chips are going to do better in windows after all HT helps alot for the every day person inless you just game then intel does the rest well. after all dual stimualteds cpus run better the one.
