Well, I always find myself in hard spots. So here is my info and setup.

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533)
Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series (Eyefinity Edition, 6 Mini DP)
Description: Line Out (4- Saffire 6 USB)
Description: Line In (4- Saffire 6 USB)

I use a PLP Display setup. Dell 2007FP x Dell 3008WFP x Dell 2007FP
Also have a U2912WM and a VS 22" (No HDMI). And a XFX 7970, but am returning it because it has the whizzing sound.

So. My problem lies in my 30" there. I have it connected via DP->MDP to the 5800 as well as the other two via DVI->MDP Adapter, never had problems there. The issue comes in when I use a HDMI -> LGP -> HDMI MPD Adapter. I have to unplug the 30" Mini DP and then reconfigure and then it works. Until it didn't. It worked once and then never again, pressed the button, re installed, etc...

Now, I just got the VS monitor today. I would love to return it, but it works OK with my older computer (which I would like to sell as well) and have the LGP work better with my current setup, OR something that could in fact replace the LGP.

All in all I would love to record some of my play as well as stream some times, but I'm having major roadblocks and now my office is a disaster.
